1994 Left Maitland Mercury in August to pursue passion for art.
1994 November “Christmas” exhibition of fine ink artwork with Barry Maitland and Val Anderson, Maitland City Art Gallery.
1995 Artwork exhibited at Maitland City Council Admin Building.
1996 Demonstrated artwork before the Steamfest crowds at Maitland City Art Gallery, to help promote the city.
1997 Pender Place Shopping Centre. A selection of prints of local homes and public buildings.

Achievements
1971 High School prize for illustrating weekly news sheet and annual magazine.
1976 Runner - up Best Picture Category, Wyndham Estate/ Black Hill Cellars Media Awards.
1987 High Recommendation for Best News Photography Section at the fourth annual Newcastle Media Club Press Radio and Television Awards.
1993 Selected for judging panel Maitland International Salon of Photography.
2002 Produced artwork for first of four heritage style calendars, sold by Maitland City Library to enable the purchase of computer equipment.
2009 Winner - I Heart Kirribilli Art Exhibition & Prize, Drawing/Sketching. 
2009 Highly Commended Award, Art On Loftus, Open Section, 2009.
